Having just moved back to California from Austin and coming from I believe to be the best Lexus dealer around, I had a tough time choosing a place to take my car in for service. After some research and referrals, the consensus was Modesti's. This was just an oil change/check up service that I needed. When I arrived, everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. My car was finished within the time frame they told me and they had a first time visit coupon (I love coupons!). I am very pleased with the service. The ONLY thing I was a bit disappointed in was when I picked up my car, they told me of a few things they recommend I needed done, one of which was $17. Typically in the past I have always had a service place call me to tell me so I had the option of them doing it then. In this situation, I would have definitely had them do that then instead of bringing it in again. Time is valuable.

I always leave understanding what was done and what further needs to be done. I never feel coaxed to buy or pay for unnecessary parts or service.
