Silicon Beach Auto Repair

I was happy to find a caring, competent service so close to home. The front desk people were friendly, but more importantly, the service was excellent. The facilities were clean. They were a pleasant contrast from another company on the westside (near Santa Monica) which had performed the same repair several years back, but did it poorly at same price - I had to return the car once and they still didn't get it right -- (it was a clutch cable replacement) -- hence, I needed to have the work redone and am happy that I chose Modesti's. I think I have found a car service center that I would trust and to which I'd return.

My Honda Fit's oil life indicator went down to 20% last Thursday, and while I knew I had an appointment for a 60,000 service to be done in a couple of weeks, I didn't want to risk it, so on Friday I called and asked if I could come in Monday for a routine oil change. I was happily told I could, and brought it in yesterday. I was happy to hear the car had no issues, and the oil life indicator is now back to 100%. Been going to these guys for years, and they've always been honest and up front with them. I live in Koreatown, but I'll still make the drive to Modesti's no matter where I am.

I own a Jetta, and I'm usually a sucker and go to the dealer, who always overcharges me. I'm glad I finally found Modesti's. They actually gave me a ride to work and picked me up when my car was ready. They are honest and reliable. I'm glad I never have to go to the dealer again.
