As a woman, I automatically assume that I'm going to get swindled when I take my car in for repairs, so I relied on the AAA recommendation to go with Modesti to have my car looked at. I called Danny Thursday afternoon because my 2001 Ford Focus had an intermittent starting problem. Danny said they would have to reproduce the problem to be able to diagnose what's going on. He said to bring the car in on Friday, and let them try to start the car periodically during the day to see if the car would fail for them. Danny called Friday afternoon, and said that after several attempts during the day, the car did in fact fail to start. He said although the battery cables were on tight, they removed the cables, cleaned them thoroughly, and re-attached them and that solved the problem. I appreciated the folks at Modesti taking prompt action to solve the problem the very next day. Thanks.

Pricey compared to dealer service but convenient to home. However, I do mention Modesti's as an option when the subject of auto maintenance comes up.
